Good one – but short

Do you have children? When you are in a restaurant or bar, who goes to the bathroom with them? Have you ever found yourself in an awkward position holding a child, a coat, a purse, explaining to a child that a puddle on the floor is not for playing with?

Going to a public toilet with a child sometimes can be challenging.

At home, when the kids are little, we all buy our children a potty, and later we also buy a children’s toilet seat, one that can be placed on a normal-sized toilet seat.

Honestly, I don’t really remember my experiences when my kids were little and we were in a restaurant and they had to pee. I guess they just did it. Or maybe my husband went with them…

A few years back I come across a toilet for a parent and a child in the same cubicle. What a great idea! It looks so simple, so natural, and yet I only come across a few.

And that made me think about it a little more. I’ve never come across, even in parks or playgrounds, a toilet-sized children’s toilet. Sometimes the cubicle is so small and narrow that you can barely fit inside, let alone with a child. 😫😤😖

Then the movie starts playing in my head: it’s a cold day, the mother and child have coats, the child has a backpack, the mother has a nice big purse. They have to pee! The toilet boot is so small, there’s no hanger, no place for coats. The mother has to hold the child over the toilet bowl, the purse is falling off her shoulder, almost under the stream of urine!!! Damn you and your peeing 😯😣😫😂😂😂

The sink for children next to the sink for adults is simply great! Unfortunately, the toilet is for adults only.

These last two photos were taken in a shopping village. There was even an elevator to the floor where the toilets were. Everything was clean. No water on the floor. Big toilet cubicles, no strange smell. Nice, just the way it should be! And as you can see, a children’s toilet next to mum! That’s really great.
