From Italy with love – part 1

I really like coming to Italy. I like visiting cities and small towns in Italy. Walking through streets with old buildings stuck together, beautiful facades full of ornaments, coats of arms, with huge thick wooden doors. And every door has almost unique door knobs! It’s nice to peek into rooms from the road and see wooden beams on the ceiling, walls painted with frescoes and arches decorated with bricks.
Maybe Italians are already used to seeing this beauty every day, but for me it’s a new experience every time! And I really enjoy it…

And I love the smell of coffee and the smell of pizza and I love the shops packed to the brim. And everything is wrapped and packaged like every day is your birthday. I also love their wobbly stone tiles and I admire Italian women for how they can walk on them in heels and still look sexy and seductive. 😎

As I fall in love with Italy, Italian toilets are becoming less and less appealing to me. One after another, the toilets have made me want to write about them more and more. 😟🤦🏼‍♀️

If they had the opportunity to put a toilet that was NOT on the same floor, they would definitely do it.

But I can’t just leave it without comment! It was a terrible experience for me. It seems like they didn’t care at all. Taped to the wall, on a plain piece of paper it said that the toilet actually doesn’t work. 🙈🙉🙊 You can see that the paper has been on that wall for a while. Yes, they say – thank you, but no apology…..

Again there was only one toilet for all…

….. and even that one they couldn’t make an effort to make it look, if nothing else, at least pleasing to the eye

It seems to me that they like to write a notice on a piece of paper and just stick it on the wall.
