Behind this photo lies a story that needs to be told.

A friend of mine received a Twin toilet for Christmas one year !! In fact, she asked Secret Santa for a meaningful gift, instead of a useless dust collector.

So that Christmas, her sister-in-law, Mrs. Gates, sat down and wrote a check for a toilet in a far, far away land for less fortunate people.

What about that ?! A great Idea ! 🎉🎊🤩

For that, Mrs. Gates received a gift certificate and gave it to my friend as a Christmas present. 🎁

It is a foundation that helps poor nations to build toilets and teach them about hygiene. One can Twin a toilet by obtaining a certificate with a photo of the twinned toilet, its location and GPS coordinates.

I’ve never seen or heard of Twinning toilets before, but I liked the idea right away! You can find more about it on the internet.

Anyway, that certificate has been hanging on the wall in my friends toilet for many years. It is located on the opposite wall of the toilet bowl.

And there is always a story behind the story………

Since I had recently started writing stories about toilets, I told my friends that I would like to take a photo of it and write a few words about it. Suddenly my husband was confused, which photo was it, where was that certificate, on which wall, in which room? 😮😬🤔🫤

He rushed to the loo and looked around (mind you, a very small loo!) and saw it. He was surprised to see it for the first time. The conclusion was that he had always had his back to that wall where the framed certificate was hung and had never seen it. 🙈🙊🤭

So ladies, if you ever need to hide something from your partner, put it on the opposite wall of the toilet bowl. They’ll never bother to look. Even if they’re doing number 2, they’ll be reading a book, doing crossword puzzles, or scrolling through their phones. 😂😂🙃

PS: This is not an advertisement. I just like the idea of ​​helping someone flush their toilet, teaching kids about hygiene, giving them a better life.
Simple as that!
